The upgrade pack includes accurate replacement parts for the bridge, impulse deck, and torpedo launcher (as detailed below) for the Polar Lights 1:1000 Refit Enterprise. Parts are available as a set in opaque resin for standard build-up, or in clear to allow for lighting. The combined set has a more economical price than the individual parts.

Note: The opaque parts are highly recommended unless the model is to be lit; the white resin castings are less brittle than the clear resin, and generally easier to work with.

The enhanced bridge module is designed as a drop-in replacement for the original kit bridge. In addition to having overall geometry corrections, this part contains a molded docking port, enlarged bridge dome, and finer panel details. The part is available in opaque white for standard build-up, and in clear for lighting. The opaque version includes corrected decals for the Officers' Lounge windows, while the clear version comes with a cut-out template to mask these windows.

The enhanced impulse deck is a drop-in replacement for the original kit engine and crystal. The part addresses the limitations inherent to plastic injection molding of the original part. Specifically, the replacement part has a corrected shape with larger impulse exhausts and thinner walls. The impulse dome is significantly more detailed. The part is available in opaque resin for standard build up, and also clearly cast to allow for lighting. All purchases come with accurate decals for the impulse exhaust decals as well as an additional decal for paneling, as pictured.

The replacement part is highly detailed, is designed to accept lighting (in the clear version), and addresses fit issues by being cast as a single part.

Two decals of the Officers' Lounge windows at the rear of the "B"-deck to correct the shape to match the studio model, and the colour to match the other decals provided by the manufacturer. These are the same decals provided with the replacement bridge, but for those who do not wish to alter their model as drastically. Decals are pre-coated for easy application.
